Ovechkin Goes Back to CCM
Alex Ovechkin has signed with CCM to wear their equipment and training apparel exclusively. CCM tweeted out the following video to announce the signing.
"Ovie" makes the switch back to CCM after wearing Bauer equipment since 2011. Alex wore Bauer for six seasons in which he scored 257 goals and amassed 421 points. You can also add 19 goals and 40 points during the 2012-13 lockout with Dynamo Moscow of the KHL.
Previously Alex Ovechkin wore CCM from his rookie season 2005-06 up to 2010-11. During those six seasons he scored 301 goals and 614 points. "Ovie" had been wearing Bauer equipment for preseason and the first 3 games of the regular season, but he had been using CCM twigs. He now makes a full switch back to CCM.
