Sunday: New Look, New Unis!
Good afternoon everybody. Steve here with another ACHA team. Actually, it's a team I've written about before but finally got home jerseys to match. That team is the USF Ice Bulls!
For those of you who remember from last season, the Ice Bulls got there green jerseys midway through the season which was a much needed improvement. When it came to the white jerseys, the Ice Bulls wanted to have a jersey that differentiated from the dark jerseys they had originally and I must say that Rebirth delivered on that. I love the fact that they when with green on the bottom of the jersey and arms as well as having a phantom yoke. Also, it was a nice touch on the jersey to have both the United States and the State of Florida flag on both shoulders.
The team made it to nationals last year looking pretty good doing so and plan to go back. As for selling the jerseys, it's in the works. Best of luck to the Ice Bulls and I look forward to keeping up with you guys during the season!
When comes to the new branding of HJC, I'd like to say that I'm very proud of what the writers and myself had come up with. Sure there are some kinks that we're working on with the website but that's temporary.
Finally, make sure that you get in your AIHL entries as well as voting for the COTW and COTW- September!
Alright let's do this!
Negatives: Those modern style numbers look out of place on this and need to go. Also, that blue just doesn't work. I get that you tried to use the WC blue but it's not working. Finally, your presentation is kind of pixelated looking and I think you should tone that down.
Overall: 6.75/10
Negatives: That thin black stripe you have above the thick stripe's accent striping is a little too thin for my liking.
Overall: 8.5/10
Negatives: Besides it looking like every other Bruins concept I've seen, It reminds me of the first Winter Classic jersey a lot and I'd like to see a little more differentiation from that jersey. Also, a look at the back would be nice.
Overall: 8.75/10 COTW NOMINEE!
Well that's all I got for this week guys. I'd like to welcome the new writers coming in and I look forward to working with them. Also, it was a pleasure to write with you BPoe and I wish you the best of luck from one Pens fan to another! Have a good rest of the week everybody and I'll see you guys here this time next week!

Alright let's do this!
Alan H- Montreal Canadiens
Positives: What really works on this jersey is keeping the hem stripe on both jerseys and adding that extra color to the bottom of the jersey. It gives it that traditional Canadiens look but adds a new twist to it.Negatives: Those modern style numbers look out of place on this and need to go. Also, that blue just doesn't work. I get that you tried to use the WC blue but it's not working. Finally, your presentation is kind of pixelated looking and I think you should tone that down.
Overall: 6.75/10
Brooks F- Rockford IceHogs
Positives: I like the fact that it has that Blackhawks feel to the design of it but it's not actually a copy of the Blackhawks. the Black ends work really well with that thick stripe on the waist and arms and, overall, it's pleasing on the eyes.Negatives: That thin black stripe you have above the thick stripe's accent striping is a little too thin for my liking.
Overall: 8.5/10
Kevin D- Boston Bruins
Positives: I'm going to take it that you had this idea to make the yellow the more prominent color from Providence. That's not a bad thing. I think it works quite well and you did a really good job of balancing the colors. The black square yoke really ties the jersey together with the black ends on the arms as well.Negatives: Besides it looking like every other Bruins concept I've seen, It reminds me of the first Winter Classic jersey a lot and I'd like to see a little more differentiation from that jersey. Also, a look at the back would be nice.
Overall: 8.75/10 COTW NOMINEE!
