Sunday: Birds and Buccaneers
Howdy everybody.It's been a pretty busy weekend for me so let's just get to the concepts after the announcements okay?

Okay let's do this!
Positives: This striping design works really well. The thin strips are really well balanced throughout the jersey. Also, the balance of white and yellow works really well on the away jersey.
Negatives: While the striping is well balanced, the color balance on the home jersey is off and it could use just a little more black.
Overall: 7.5/10
Positives: Working with the original Penguins colors, the half and half two tone blue sleeve looks pretty good. The white double striping really helps add something to the sleeves.
Negatives: A few things. First, white numbers with a thin Navy blue outline on a powder blue arm is going to be hard to see even from 10 feet away. Also, the powder blue triangle just looks strange with the logo and doesn't give the logo the focal point that previous jersey have done.
Overall: 7/10
Positives: I like that you created two different designs that accent the logos very well. The orange and white striping on the Red jersey with the black yoke, cuffs, and hems work really well together and the white jersey with the wave style stripes and the red yoke, hem, and cuffs compliment the boat logo as well. It's not overdone and not too traditional.
Negatives: I wish you would have used the current numbering for the Bucs' jersey.
Overall: 8.75/10 COTW NOMINEE
Positives: The striping on this jersey is really cool. For some reason, this gives me a "Star Wars" type feel and it's appropriate for the wings. The black Jersey with the selective red striping works great.
Negatives: I'm assuming this was for the Wings fan jersey competition. That being said, I'm a little confused as to what the aircraft is and where this design is going. It's a nice design but the only thing that reminds me of the wings is the cardinal on the shoulder.
Overall: 8/10

Burkus C- Pittsburgh Pirates
