Buffalo Sabres Winter Classic Sneak Peek

On Tuesday the Buffalo Sabres, courtesy the My One Buffalo app revealed some teaser images of the soon to be released 2018 Sabres Winter Classic jersey.

The first teaser we saw showed us that the classic royal blue and yellow will be on the jersey. We also get to see that there will be a crossed swords logo on the pants and there will be a yellow stripe running down the pants.

Teaser #2 shows us that the TV numbers will be solid blue. We did not get to see the numbers on the back or the NOB (Name On Back), so we will have to wait to see if they match or have any additional features.We can also see some arm striping that matches the Fanatics hat we saw a few weeks back.

Teaser #3 indicates that the full Buffalo with script logo will be on one shoulder. We can also see that the shoulder yokes will not have yellow trim and are simply blue. If you look at the collar, you can see that the wool effect from the front terminates into a standard collar in the back.

 

Teaser #4 shows us that the 2018 Winter Classic logo is on the right shoulder yoke. This also lets us know that the full Buffalo with script logo will be on the left shoulder yoke.

 

Teaser #5 provides us a look at the classic Sabres logo with the new NY at the bottom. Sabres fans should be happy with this selection. It is unclear if there will be an arched script or any other additional elements above the logo.

 

Teaser #6 brings us our first new style Adidas collar! This is a retro "wool style" collar that stitches down into a point. This is very similar to what St. Louis wore last year and Boston the year before that.

Based on these teasers HJC has come up with the following image which may resemble the Winter Classic jersey.
