Sunday: ... And All the King's Gold!
Good afternoon everybody. This is you Sunday writer here back with another sweet post that you're reading while on the toilet! I must make the announcement that the next designs for the shirts are on a slight delay due to my six-year-old mouse finally breaking and me waiting to get a new one.
Anyways, Keep a lookout around Tuesday or Wednesday for my story on the Duquesne University hockey Club. Speaking about the website, It was a great turnout for the Kings comp and now that we have the Islanders Comp going on, I hope to see the same. Don't forget that we have two votes going on! COTW and COTW- October!
Ok let's get to it!
Negatives: If you didn't listen to our podcast last night, then you might not get this reference but with the hem point at exactly the middle of the jersey it just looks strange instead of it being on the ends. Also, the white hem and sleeve cuffs on the dark jersey just don't look that good either.
Overall: 7/10
Negatives: My only gripe about this is that you have white numbers on a yellow jersey. As a concept, it works fine. On a actually jersey with someone trying to look at it from a distance, though, it get's hard to read because it's not as contrasting with the yellow. Make the number black with a white outline and you'll be golden.
Overall: 8.75/10 COTW NOMINEE!
Negatives: The mashup of eras you're trying on the alternate just didn't work out here. The 80's jersey template with the 90's Alternate logo just clashes. As for the primary jerseys, The black yoke works well on the home jersey but It would be nice to see a different color on the away jersey. Finally, the "LA" logo on the shoulders just doesn't work. At all. on any of the jerseys!
Overall: 7.75/10
Well That's all I got for you guys. Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you guys this time next week!

Ok let's get to it!
Adam G- Los Angeles Kings
Positives: Love the 2000's crest logo done in the current color scheme here. It really works well with the coloring of the jersey. As for the design itself, you did a pretty good job of keeping it simple to bring most of the attention to the crest.Negatives: If you didn't listen to our podcast last night, then you might not get this reference but with the hem point at exactly the middle of the jersey it just looks strange instead of it being on the ends. Also, the white hem and sleeve cuffs on the dark jersey just don't look that good either.

Noah B- Richmond Tigers
Positives: With a logo like that the only option is to take the Hamilton Tigers route on this. The bumble bee striping socks with the singular stripe across the chest and sleeves work great and I don't think you need to do anymore to improve it.Negatives: My only gripe about this is that you have white numbers on a yellow jersey. As a concept, it works fine. On a actually jersey with someone trying to look at it from a distance, though, it get's hard to read because it's not as contrasting with the yellow. Overall: 8.75/10 COTW NOMINEE!
Ryan H- Los Angeles Kings
Positives: Bringing back the forum blue as the dark jersey was a great choice and it works really well with the silver numbers and stripes. The white jersey is also a perfect contrast to it as well and, overall, is quite convincing.Negatives: The mashup of eras you're trying on the alternate just didn't work out here. The 80's jersey template with the 90's Alternate logo just clashes. As for the primary jerseys, The black yoke works well on the home jersey but It would be nice to see a different color on the away jersey. Finally, the "LA" logo on the shoulders just doesn't work.
