Rangers Winter Classic Hat
The New York Rangers' 2018 Winter Classic hat has also popped up.
Yesterday we showed you the Fanatics Buffalo Sabres Winter Classic hat that is for sale. Now we get a look at the Rangers' version. We can speculate that both hats may give us a glimpse at what each team will wear during this outdoor game this season.
The Rangers seem to be using a navy blue instead of their traditional Broadway blue. It appears to be a similar shade, if not the same, to the blue used on their most recent alternate jerseys.
The plain white wordmark is what they used only during their innaugural season of 1926-27. The following year they went with a plain red workmark. Thanks to NHLuniforms.com for that info.
We could then speculate further that the Rangers will wear a jersey similar to their 1926 jersey, but in a darker shade of blue and with all the great Adidas fixins.
